Dear QHA Members,

I wanted to speak to all members and ensure that the QHA is continuing to serve our members as best we can – particularly now when the business and social landscape has changed so dramatically. As the Chief Executive, I am immensely proud of how our team have responded to members inquiries and all of the incredible feedback that I have had from our members has been passed on to the team.

As members, I felt it important to keep you up to date about the QHA as an employer. We have applied for the JobKeeper wage subsidy like many of you. Due to the deep decline in our revenues, the QHA have had to make some staff cuts, like everyone, but are trying to look after all of our team to be ready to serve the membership as best we can. We look forward to the day when our training business is back at full speed and we can welcome you all back to the tremendous industry events the QHA hold. We are committed to bouncing back strong and are keeping our team ready to respond to you all when we can prepare to open.

Lastly, I want to let the membership know that QHA are in constant contact with Federal and State Government, working to find a pathway back to full trading. I must stress, there is no definite date for opening however, we are looking to ensure that we have plenty of notice to ensure that venues are prepared.
