ID Scanning not required for venues closing at midnight
QHA representation has resulted in venues in Safe Night Precincts not being required to scan from 10pm on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights, if closing at 12 midnight.
This applies regardless of a venue’s approved trading hours being later than 12 midnight.
It is expected that this will be reviewed for Stage 3 trading.
