Introducing IDU Identification, a next generation ID scanning tech ready for launch in venues across the state in the coming weeks.
IDU offers venues the latest ID scanning technology through a simple tablet application.
Built by some of the state's brightest minds, the product is designed to get patrons into venues quicker and easier, while delivering real-time insights to venue management teams to improve operations and safety.
Founded by young local entrepreneur Mitch Robinson, IDU’s scanning technology has been built and tested over the past 18 months in partnership with Brisbane based tech innovation studio ‘Aginic Ventures’.
“At IDU, we’ve focused on building a system which leverages the most advanced equipment and software available on the market. It’s completely wireless, runs from a simple downloadable iOS app and enables venues to scan hundreds of domestic and international IDs accurately and efficiently.” said Robinson.
“We’ve been working very closely with the OLGR to finalise the approval of our systems to complement our Approved Operator status. It’s exciting to be a few weeks away from being able to get stuck in and support venues as they look to re-open post COVID-19.”
Robinson said their company recognises the challenges and uncertainty venues across the state face as they work to re-establish their businesses following the pandemic.
“We want to make sure we don’t create additional overhead for venues re-opening in this difficult time, and offer as much support as we can as the industry gets back up on its feet. To help out, we’ve put together an onboarding offer for venues looking to harness the power of our new technology.”
|QHA Member Offer
IDU is pleased to support QHA members with an exclusive onboarding discount, saving venues on average up to $5,160 on set up, installation and select hardware costs.
