The Easter long weekend is coming up, and members are reminded that the Easter public holidays are:
Good Friday – Friday 2 April
Easter Saturday - Saturday 3 April
Easter Sunday – Sunday 4 April
Easter Monday - Monday 5 April
To ensure that employees receive the correct public holiday entitlement for the Easter public holidays, members can access a detailed information sheet which outlines entitlements on public holidays under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 - click HERE to access it. Members should seek separate advice in relation to entitlements for employees who are covered by a different Modern Award, a registered Agreement, or are Award or Agreement free.
