The National Measurement Institute (Australian Government) will be delivering a concentrated audit program targeting Licensed Premises from 20–24 October 2025.
This national initiative aims to ensure consumers receive what they pay for and to support fair competition across the industry.
As part of the audits, NMI inspectors will be:
- Conducting trial purchases (where the inspector behaves as a customer to observe measurement practices)
- Testing the accuracy of automatic liquor dispensers
- Inspecting simple measures
- Actioning non-compliance
