Built for the future

Built for the future

Odyssey has evolved into Queensland’s premium provider of gaming services and technology by focusing on what matters most, our venue partners.

That means taking the time to understand how venues actually operate, what drives performance on the floor, and where the right technology can make a measurable difference. It’s a strategy grounded in partnership, not transactions, and one that continues to shape how we grow.

At the same time, we continue to invest in a more connected and flexible technology environment. Solutions designed to work together, adapt to different venue needs, and integrate seamlessly into day to day operations, improving both the staff experience and the patron journey.

Our recent acquisition of Brighton Technologies Group’s hospitality and gaming technology assets is a clear reflection of this approach and represents a significant step forward, not just for Odyssey, but for the venues we support every day. It brings together proven capabilities, expanded solutions and deep expertise, all focused on one outcome, elevating the patron experience and driving stronger venue performance.

That momentum was on full display at the Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), where Odyssey and BTG were proud to showcase our combined capabilities to the industry. As the first AGE since Federal Group’s acquisition of Odyssey in 2017, the event marked an important milestone for our business and highlighted the strength of our expanding technology portfolio, growing national presence, and commitment to helping venues achieve better outcomes.

The response throughout the show was incredibly positive. From conversations around venue performance and player engagement through to the expansion of Insight BI into New South Wales, it was encouraging to see strong interest in solutions that help venues make smarter decisions, streamline operations, and create better experiences for their patrons.

We were also pleased to contribute to industry discussions, with General Manager Peter Walford joining a panel of industry leaders at Seminar Central to discuss compliance, connectivity and the digital transformation of gaming.

Most importantly, AGE gave us the opportunity to connect with venue operators, partners and industry colleagues from across Australia.

With the addition of BTG’s capabilities, we are strengthening our position with more solutions, greater flexibility and an expanded team dedicated to helping venues improve performance.

At the same time, we are expanding our footprint and capability beyond Queensland.

We are pleased to welcome our new team members in New South Wales, Daniel, Adam, Venesa, Ben and Arsalran, bringing their experience and relationships into Odyssey. Just as importantly, we are committed to ensuring continuity for existing BTG customers, continuing to deliver the services they know and trust, now enhanced with Odyssey’s full service delivery model and broader technology ecosystem.

This next phase also creates new opportunities for growth.

As part of this, Peter Walford will lead the integration of BTG into the Odyssey business and drive these growth initiatives in New South Wales. His focus ensures a considered, hands on approach, maintaining strong relationships in Queensland while building momentum in new markets.

To support our continued growth locally, we are also strengthening leadership within Queensland, ensuring our clients continue to receive the dedicated support, responsiveness and partnership they expect.

Ultimately, this is about being stronger together.

One ecosystem, one support structure, and one trusted partner, backed by experience, invested in innovation, and focused on helping venues perform.
