This QLD Day (Saturday 6 June), hotels across Queensland are invited to celebrate in true local style by hosting their own community events.
From a backyard style barbecue, Queensland inspired menu, Queensland beverage spotlight of the week, sport on the TV, Cane Toad or Mud Crab races, QLD themed trivia, QLD Day is about bringing people together. From the outback to the coast, hotels play a vital role in uniting Queenslanders and creating spaces where locals can connect.
Hosting a QLD Day event is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Showcase your hotel’s local pride
- Strengthen connections with your community
- Bring locals together to celebrate everything that makes Queensland great.
Hotels are encouraged to register their QLD Day events on the official website at Parties – QLD Day 2026 to promote their celebrations and invite the wider community to attend.
The first 100 events registered will receive a QLD Day party promo pack filled with coasters and bunting to help decorate and celebrate in style.
Events must be public or community‑focused, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible for Queenslanders to take part.
