QHA GUIDE TO SELF-AUDIT YOUR EMPLOYEE RECORDS

Maintaining accurate employee records is essential for employers to avoid legal issues and ensure regulatory compliance with Australian workplace laws. Properly managed employee records can help prevent misunderstandings, disputes about wages and importantly, assist in passing inspections conducted by the Fair Work Ombudsman, Office of Industrial Relations, Australian Border Force and Work Health and Safety Queensland.

The QHA’s Employment Relations Department has developed a Guide to assist members in self-auditing employee records, to ensure compliance with the Fair Work Regulations.
