The survey aims to collect your input regarding challenges in recruitment and the skills required across various job roles. The information we gather will be utilised to create a submission for Jobs and Skills Australia’s 2024-25 Skills Priority List (SPL). This submission will offer a comprehensive perspective on the shortage of tourism-related occupations in Queensland and the expected future demand.
The SPL is an annual release that provides a snapshot of the labour market’s status, serving as a valuable resource for policymakers to align their strategies and policies with the current labour market needs.
The data collected through this survey will serve as a foundation for evidence-based industry insights. QTIC will use this information to develop strategic recommendations for the government concerning migration, training investments, and employer incentives.
