Changes to Maximum Cash Payout and Individual Bet Limits
Keno has conducted a review of its rules to enhance our approach to Responsible Gambling, and uplift the product’s integrity, compliance and monitoring procedures.
As a result of the review, the following changes will be implemented across all supported venues in Queensland from 16 July 2024.
Maximum Cash Payout Limits
The maximum cash payout limit will be reduced to $5,000 (previously $9,999). Venues that currently have a maximum cash payout limit that exceeds $5,000 will automatically have their limit amended to $5,000 within the Keno System.
Replacement Cash Payout Notices can be downloaded from Keno Connect or ordered through Keno’s Online Stationery Order Site.
Maximum Individual Bet Limits
Please note that the maximum individual bet limits on Self-Serve Terminals and Keno Touch Terminals will remain unchanged at $250 for a single ticket purchase.
These changes aim to improve the delivery of a safer, simplified, more accessible and appealing game while discouraging antisocial and improper play.
