Thank you QHA & Bidfood Community,
Thank you for choosing Smart Pups as the charity partner for the recent golf day at RACV Royal Pines Resort!
The partnership between QHA and Smart Pups embodies the spirit of giving and collaboration and we didn’t let a bit of rain and mud interfere with what was an amazing day.
Funds raised during the event will directly contribute to Smart Pups’ training programs, enabling us to continue our mission of training assistance dogs to transform the lives of children with special needs and their families facing unique challenges. With your help, we can provide greater independence, companionship, and support to those who need it most.
The success of the charity golf day was a testament to the power of community coming together for a common cause. Whether through participating in the golf tournament, sponsoring holes, or donating prizes, every one of you played a vital role in the success of the day.
Thank you once again for your incredible support
A little bit about Smart Pups
Smart Pups specialises in training service dogs for children with Autism, Epilepsy, Diabetes, and mobility conditions.
Our Smart Pups act as a bridge between each child and the outside world as they boost a child’s confidence, enhance vocabulary, reduce anxiety, prevent meltdowns, improve sleep patterns, and alert guardians to seizure and diabetic concerns.
Did you know that costs to train and care for a Smart Pup to become a certified assistance dog can be up to $50,000 and the process takes between 12-18 months.
Our recipient families raise $25,000 to donate to the Smart Pups Training Program which goes towards the cost of their Smart Pup, with our organisation contributing the remaining balance through fundraising and sponsorships. This is where we need your help!
If you would like to sponsor a puppy, where you have the opportunity to follow the training journey of a Smart Pup as well as having naming rights or you would like to discuss other collaborative opportunities, please get in touch with the Smart Pups team!
