The Australian division specifically focuses on inbound programs that provides young people from around the world with personal and professional development pathways in Australia.
The Skilled Professional Program
Designed for skilled and qualified chefs aiming to further their careers with a minimum 3-year commitment to an Australian host employer. Chefs are sponsored by the employer on the Temporary Skills Shortage visa (subclass 482). Alliance Abroad manages the entire process, from recruitment and vetting to facilitating interviews and practical assessments, collecting visa documents, and preparing chefs for their new professional journey.

The Trainee Program (Commis Chefs) Alliance Abroad Australia is a Department of Home Affairs designated Sponsor of the Training visa (subclass 407). Our Culinary Trainee Program provides recent graduates from all over the world with the opportunity to enhance their skills in Australia for 12-24 months with an Australian host employer.
Pastoral Care
We take immense pride in the pastoral care component of our programs. Understanding that moving to a new country is both exciting and daunting, our Support Team ensures each chef is fully prepared before departure. We arrange arrival accommodation and ensure health insurance, TFNs, and bank accounts are set up. Most importantly, we strive to provide a smooth and enjoyable transition for the talented chefs we recruit for you.
Assessing and interviewing Chefs:
This year we are holding monthly Assessment Fairs at the International Centre for Culinary Arts ICCA, Dubai (ranked within the top five culinary schools in the world). We can also arrange virtual interviews and cooking videos if you don’t have the capacity to attend a fair.
