Queensland Priority Occupations Survey
The survey aims to collect your input regarding challenges in recruitment and the skills required across various job roles. The information we gather will be utilised to create a submission for Jobs and Skills Australia's 2024-25 Skills Priority List (SPL). This submission will offer a comprehensive perspective on the shortage of tourism-related occupations in Queensland and the expected future demand.
The SPL is an annual release that provides a snapshot of the labour market's status, serving as a valuable resource for policymakers to align their strategies and policies with the current labour market needs.
The data collected through this survey will serve as a foundation for evidence-based industry insights. QTIC will use this information to develop strategic recommendations for the government concerning migration, training investments, and employer incentives.
