Queensland Health are still in the process of developing more streamlined and adaptable COVID Safe Plans for all industries and we can expect our new plan to be available early in the new year. While for many it is frustrating that we are operating under a plan from September which contains outdated restrictions, QLD Health are working to ensure the updated plan will not need to be amended again, rather contains detailed information should the situation arise that restrictions would need to be reintroduced to contain any outbreak.

Further to this the the CHO has given approval for TAB and KENO mark sense cards and their caddies to be returned to table tops in your venues. This has been approved because they are not multi touch items and the caddies can be added to your existing heightened cleaning schedules.

Multi-touch items, including pens and pencils, must not be out on table tops. These can however be provided from your service areas for single patron use, or patrons should be encouraged to bring their own pens.
