Further to previous QHA’s communication about clause 24 in the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 (‘HIGA’) changing from 1 September 2022, members are invited to register for a QHA Member Zoom discussion on Friday, 22 July from 10am.

The zoom meeting has been scheduled for discussion on:

New clause 24, and the differences between it and the existing clause
What employers need to be doing in readiness for the new clause
Reconciliation requirements:
- Every 12 months, and
- Every roster cycle for the outer limits
Common Q&As; and
QHA Annualised Salary resources kit.

New clause 24 will impose significant administrative requirements on employers. As there is a lot to navigate, and to prepare for, this zoom meeting is one that you don’t want to miss!
