On Tuesday 25 August attendees within the accommodation and hospitality industry will gather at Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane for the QHA Accommodation Division's 6th Annual Hotel Market and Economic Outlook Event.

This event, as has been the case in past years, will provide insights into current and upcoming market trends that will assist with economic forecasting to facilitate strategic planning within the hotel accommodation industry. The event will see a variety of speakers take to the stage to discuss a broad range of topics.

The morning will commence with a light healthy breakfast and the opportunity to network with fellow industry colleagues face to face. It will no doubt serve as a refreshing change to the isolation many of us experienced during the pandemic.

Janu Chan has been working as an economist in financial markets for several years before joining the St George Bank group in 2011.
