The QHA Training Department has launched the long-awaited, revamped nationally recognised online SITHFAB002 Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and SITHGAM001 Provide Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) courses. Both courses now contain an increase in relevant content, a substantial boost to the number and types of assessments we use to assess skills and knowledge, and a more interactive experience, which is essentially geared to a younger cohort.

The online RSA/RSG courses are self-paced training geared for completion over a minimum of 4 and 3.5 hours respectively. The student enrols through the QHA Training website (student portal), pays by credit card and receives email guidance to access the training. Each student uploads an acceptable form of identification and is required by the education regulator to provide some information relating to identity, background and schooling.

In addition to written assessments, students are also required to record (or self-record) a short video of themselves demonstrating they have met the competency based on given scenarios, and upload through their student portal. The student receives a Statement of Attainment upon successful completion of the training, which is a nationally recognised competency.
