From 1 July 2021 the Super Guarantee (SG) rate rose to 10%. This is an increase of 0.5% on the previous minimum of 9.5% of ordinary time earnings. The SG is scheduled to increase by 0.5% each financial year until reaching 12% on 1 July 2025.
